Hello! Welcome to my Blog…..

I love to share funny stories about my life, because life is very funny. You just never know what experience will be waiting for you around the corner. It doesn’t matter if I am traveling in foreign countries, living life in Southern Oregon, trying to raise my children to be the best human beings they can be, working my day jobs or feeding my cat and newly added to the family, puppy…fun happens.  Well…at least I can say, “that was funny” at some point, sometimes it might be years later.

My daughter Aliesha actually came up with the title to my blog. She thinks that her mom has a good attitude most of the time. I believe that I am a optimistic person….I usually see my Margarita glass as half full!

About Me

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 34 years. He is wonderful for putting up with my shiz for all these years! I have 3 great kids, my 2 sons are grown and out of the house, living their lives, creating funny stories of their own. My daughter and I are very close, she now has her drivers license and I am sad because she no longer needs mom to run her butt all over town, well not that sad.

Then it happened….one day I woke up and had grandkids. It’s kinda like the classic movie Hook, when one of the lost boys asks, “Peter Pan’s got kids?”    Lori is a grandma?!

Traveling is my passion. I also enjoy photography, don’t the two really go hand in hand? What better way to document your travels than with a camera. Of course you have to keep a journal too. At least I do, I am a list keeper, not to check things off, I have to write things down so I remember. Maybe it’s because I am a grandma…that’s what happens when you get older, you forget stuff.

When I finish growing up it is my dream to have my TESOL certificate and live in Mérida, Yucatan. And since I am dreaming… I want a little house, in the historical district.

My brother lives in Pheonix – Glendale, I think.
Look forward to reading more. I’m following you.

    • mj,
Thanks for the heads up on Sunshine. 🙂
I appreciate you stopping by and I am honored for the follow.
Glendale is not far north from where I am in Avondale. Lots of suburbs in the Phoenix area.
      Happy Blogging!
